On the afternoon of July 16th, members of Globaltality Holding participated in the “Excellent Leaders and Growth Exchange Conference” at the SPACiE Cafe in Beijing. GH has invited Mr. Chai Guobing, a senior lecturer with Carnegie Training Global Certification, to conduct professional training on leadership improvement targeting leadership blind spots, and to exchange experiences with members.

The development fields of Globaltality Holding are all closely related to “space management”, which has nurtured a set of space management philosophies that is steady, innovative, and full of breakthroughs. Carnegie Training is a training institution with more than 100 years of experience. It has cooperated with hundreds of Fortune 500 companies around the world. From leadership, communication to sales, it provides a variety of professional training courses to help people improve self-confidence, get better communication, and promote more harmonious interpersonal relationships.

The purpose of this meeting is to use Carnegie’s training courses for the space members of the GH Hospitality Group to keep up with important leadership behaviors like learning the latest leadership trends, discover their own leadership blind spots and methods for improvement, study how to improve employee retention and satisfaction, and find ways to promote employees to do their best.

As a senior lecturer, Mr. Chai Guobing understands the challenges of managers and how to be an outstanding business leader. At the beginning of the conference, Mr. Chai Guobing pointed out that as an efficient leader, high-level professional ability and management ability are only the characteristics that we often think of. Leaders tend to ignore the credibility of their own management, which refers to the credibility of leaders perceived by employees. The honesty and integrity of leaders’ actions determine the level of engagement of employees. Employees want leaders who dare to admit mistakes. Leaders must genuinely listen to and value employees’ opinions.

In addition, Mr. Chai Guobing believes that the responsibility of leadership is to actively create a team culture. Leaders should take the lead in practicing an open and honest team culture. Honesty and openness must not fall into the formalities. That is, when expressing opinions, they must confirm with each other, clarify understanding, avoid misunderstandings, avoid detours when discussing work matters, and have clear responsibilities and opinions. Thus, employees can clearly perceive what should be done and what should not be done.

Although the time length of conference was only two hours, it had far-reaching significance. Mr. Chai not only explained in detail what is the blind spot of leadership and how to improve the blind spot of leaders but also led 40 management cadres from various enterprises on-site to discuss their leadership experiences around this topic. After the event, the members of GH at the scene expressed that they would apply what they have learned this time to their life and work. They would strengthen themselves by recognizing their blind spots, realize cooperation by tolerant others, and achieve win-win ineffective communication. To deal with difficulties intelligently, and truly realize “quality life, happy work”.
